Location—DiamondJacks Casino, Bossier City, LA
Room Rate: $69.00/night plus taxes
(Located on the Red River, features 560 guest rooms w/jet tubs and separate sitting
areas; complimentary fitness center; outdoor pool and hot tub; four onsite dining
choices; resort spa w/massages, facials, pedicures & manicures; complimentary
garage parking or valet service; internet access—fee required). Near Louisiana
Boardwalk—outlet stores, dining, movie theater, Bass Pro shop.
General Information:
Social (“Laboratorians’ Got Talent”) Wednesday night immediately following Exhibits
opening; food during exhibit opening. DJ and dancing, cash bar, too. Young patrons
will be carded. Breakfast planned for the Board meetings; Awards will be presented
during luncheon. Meeting theme T Shirts will be provided to a designated number of pre-
registrants and will be available for purchase at the meeting (tentative at this time).
Program: 30 speakers covering all disciplines. Evaluating the feasibility of having a
support staff (Phlebotomists, specimen processors) seminar one afternoon—will be
offered separately from the meeting for a fee and included in the full registration for
meeting attendees.
