Congratulations to Alexa Garlington, the 2021 - 2022 LSCLS Student Forum chair. Alexa is a MLS student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. She previously served in leadership positions at her university as secretary and vice-president of the ULM Medical Laboratory Science program. She also recently completed the Summer Laboratory Science Program at Mayo Clinic. In Alexa's words, participation in that event "has given me inspiration for ideas we could implement in Louisiana to create a successful environment for this field."
